One of my favorite tracks from The Original Dom Kennedy Mixtape. In my opinion Dom is one of the best Artist on the West Coast, his brilliant and witty lyrics, coupled with is laid-back “Playa” like persona never gets old. Checkout the Video.

Moment of Style #3

image

George Clooney. Also known as Danny Ocean from the Ocean’s movie trilogy (some of my favorite movies of all time). George is a prime example of how the clothes don’t make the man. They way he acts in movies is the same way he acts in real life. Smooth. It just so happens he knows how to dress. Dress well, might I add. Especially when it comes to sporting black and white. With impeccable taste and infinte class, this man single-handedly makes being old look cool. So take note…and grow up.

History Of The Air Force One

For those of you who are sneaker connoisseurs such as myself, you’ll understand that the Nike Air Force One will NEVER go “out of style”. For those that disagree, this documentary will help you understand why you’re wrong

The New Haven Math Club

For all my fellow college (and even highschool) students who strive to academically succeed in the classroom, here is a short video on how to fashionably succeed in AND outside of the classroom. Take notes from the New Haven Math Club.

“A cunning intellect and quick wit may not reveal themselves if you don’t also dress smartly…If you dress smart, your mind will surely follow”

A Set Free Minute: Mos Def

“Its not about expressing status or power…it’s much deeper than that”

Ron Artest Changing his name to…What!??

Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday seeking to change his name from Ronald William Artest Jr. to Metta World Peace. An August 26 court date has been set to consider the petition. I wonder if the Word Peace Foundation will take legal action against Ron Artest for deformation of character, now that would be irony at its finest.

BTW Anyone remember this (Fast Forward to 1:48)….
