Back to School!

Gentleman, summer is officially over. Fall is here and the new school year is upon us. What does that mean? Time to get fresh and more importantly, get studious. Honestly, we at Upperthinking believe you can’t do one without the other, so long as you excel in both. No man is complete without nice grades and a nice outfit (or two). The ladies like that. For all you highschool and college students, good luck this year. Play hard, work harder….and make sure you look good doing it. Be sure to check out our post on the New Haven Math Club as well.
Johnny Graham at The Kennedy Center
On Sunday, August 21, Baltimore-bred musician Johnny Graham performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Graham, a 23-year-old University of Maryland alumni and graduate student, is a gifted trumpet and piano player, successfully blending jazz, R&B, hip-hop and rock into an eclectic and unforgettable musical mix. Bridging old school melodies with new school methods, Johnny Graham and The Groove comprises some of the finest musicians from the Washington, DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas.

“Wooster”

Gentleman (and ladies lol), meet the legendary (and yet mysterious) man of style, Nickelson Wooster. If you’re not lucky enough to run into this man in person then you’ll have no problem finding him online (especially on tumblr). Once one picture of him leaks on to the internet, expect it to be reblogged a good thousand times by the end of the day. And for good reason. This man represents something much more than just a nice suit/outfit. He represents the aspect of ATTITUDE.
